to what end nature

To what end is nature? Is nature the reliable resource man builds to strengthen their own skills? Or is it a form of life that should be feared by man? Nature is the back bone to everything surrounding us. It is the smallest thing such as the ground we walk on, to the largest thing, the cars we sit in. We do not appreciate what nature feeds to us, we care little about the objects we take from it, which we end up destroying. As we watch sunsets, hike snow capped mountains, and swim in natural hot springs, we never stop to take in the beauty engulping our bodies. Will one day this beauty grow tired of the under appreciation we give it, and will therefore leave us? If so would this extinction of beauty be noticed in many eyes?

  1. Devin I like how u gave examples of nature. I agree many people take advantage of nature, and yeah maybe some day it might go away. But we will never know because we only live for so long.

  2. The way you worded this was very well done, nice, simple and you definately got your point across. We definately take nature for granted and often fail to see the beauty that is directly in front of us, and i also agree that this beauty and abundance will not last and we need to take care of it and appreciate it before its too late.

  3. What I admire most about this post is how it is informed by all those questions. Of course, this begs the issue of when, and how, you'll arrive at the answers--something I hope you can work on in the weeks ahead.
